I promise not to turn this into a wedding planning blog. That info will all be up as soon as we get the wedding website done anyway :) Let's just say that I've never really been the girl who started a wedding scrapbook before having a boyfriend or anything like that. So, I'm slowly learning the language and cultural norms of engaged women. It's definitely a new realm for me! And as long as I'm having cultural experiences of fiancee-hood, I figured I might as well dive into the deep end and attend the Seattle Wedding Show this weekend. It's at the Convention Center, where I have previously attended Coffee Fest. When I left that trade show, I was jittery and kind of sick to my stomach. Let's hope the results of this weekend's excursions are more pleasant, eh? Step 1: don't OD on caffeine. Step 2: stay hydrated. Step 3: watch the buttercream frosting consumption.
Yep, I'm good to go!

Michelle,
Sometime in LATE Jan to mid Feb Portland has a wedding dress event that gets used and new dresses from celebrities and designers that they sell for cheap and all the profits go to cancer and other organizations. I got a $1000 plus dress for $200 and all the profits went to breast cancer research. Look it up, it was so worth it! I think it was held in one of the department stores warehouses. Have fun!!!
